For most QC laboratories the answer is once a year — and immediately after a drop, a spindle jam, a motor repair or a relocation. Pharma, paint and food labs working under audit typically shorten that to every six months, because a viscometer that drifts out of tolerance quietly invalidates every batch released on its readings.

Several viscometers written off by other service teams have come back to specification through our lab and are still in daily use years later.
On-site NABL calibration covers Chennai, Tamil Nadu and most of South India. For Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi and every other city, insured courier pickup with pivot-safe packing guidance brings the instrument to us and back within the week for calibration-only jobs.
